The United Way Board of Directors recognized Roshni Manwani, Vantage Bank Texas, as the 2024 United Way Loaned Executive of the Year. Dozens of community-minded companies express their outstanding support by “lending” some of their brightest and talented team members to United Way.

Loaned Executive (LE) volunteers generously dedicate their time to the United Way for the duration of the United Way Annual Campaign, or approximately twenty weeks. These volunteers are committed to helping raise critical funds that support Partner Agencies and United Way Programs, making a positive impact on the lives of over 180,000 residents in Hidalgo and Starr Counties.

Their leadership led to the largest employee contributions from a financial institution and forty-three (43) leadership or Pillar Club Members at the bank, each donating a minimum of $500 annually to United Way. Ms. Manwani devoted countless hours to support and present at 32 United Way Campaign presentations, sharing her passion for community service and inspiring audiences to join the United Way movement. Furthermore, she took the initiative to recruit locally owned businesses, encouraging them to become part of United Way’s Business United program. Ms. Manwani’s unwavering dedication to serving the community shines through in all her efforts.

“I believe in sharing powerful testimonies of our true-life warriors. As an LE, I was proud to amplify their voices and highlight the impactful work United Way does,” Ms. Manwani said. “I am grateful to have had the opportunity to support UW’s call to action and encourage everyone to consider how you can make a lasting impact in your community.”
