United Way's Food Pantries

SOUTH TEXAS COLLEGE (STC) STUDENT FOOD PANTRY

United Way of South Texas and South Texas College (STC) are addressing the pressing issue of food insecurity. United Way is committed to supporting and fostering a healthier and more supportive learning environment for students of all ages. United Way’s funding of STC food pantries, located at the Mid-Valley, Pecan, Technology, and Starr County campuses, provides nutritious and healthy meal options for students. Furthermore, a new pantry is scheduled to open this spring at the Nursing and Allied Health campus. STC’s food pantries provide food insecurity relief to hundreds of students each semester. Through this partnership, United Way helps ensure that students facing food insecurity have consistent access to nutritious meals, promoting student well-being and academic success.
