United Way of South Texas Recognizes IBC Bank for Top 10 Company

October 9, 2025

The United Way of South Texas Board of Directors proudly recognizes IBC Bank as a Top 10 Company Supporter. IBC Bank employees and the corporation contributed $58,000 to United Way of South Texas during the 2024 Campaign. Generous contributions help United Way fund twenty local non-profit agencies, such as Women Together, Boys & Girls Clubs and The Salvation Army, along with dozens of other critical programs.

Marily Becerra, Cesar Dominguez, Brigette Iracheta, Anthony Rios and Clarissa Vallejo represented IBC Bank as 2024 Loaned Executives and did an outstanding job coordinating the Campaign. IBC Bank employees are committed to partnerships that improve the quality of lives in our community. They contribute financially to United Way of South Texas and also volunteer throughout the year. Blanca I. Villalobos is United Way’s past Board Chair and 2025 Campaign Co-Chair. IBC Bank employees volunteer as Shopping Buddies for middle school students at United Way’s Back-to-School “In Style” Shopping Spree; they participate in Day of Caring events that offer school supplies for 3,300 Freshmen on an annual basis; employees volunteer on the Fund Distribution committee, responsible for the accountability of United Way funded programs; and they serve as Campaign Loaned Executives.

“IBC Bank’s relationship with the United Way of South Texas is based on a shared belief in the power of our community,” President and CEO of IBC Bank, Adrian Villarreal said. “Our collaboration has always been focused on creating pathways to opportunity, inspiring hope, and fostering lasting change for those in need.”

The IBC Bank employee investments in United Way help over 188,500 residents in Hidalgo and Starr Counties. Their support will fund programs including emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and the homeless; after school, youth leadership and homework assistance programs for children; end-of-life care services; advocates for children in foster care; free income tax preparation services for families who earn $65,000 a year or less and much more.

The United Way Board of Directors would like to express their sincere appreciation to all IBC Bank employees for their ongoing support.
