Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a day ON, not a day OFF! This year will be the 25th anniversary of the day of service that celebrates the civil rights leader’s life. Don’t forget to stop by Cine El Rey to participate in the 10th Annual MLK Day Traditional Commemorative Walk honoring Martin Luther King Jr. There will also be free food and entertainment.

Children will get to read books and learn about the life of Martin Luther King Jr. and the history behind the day. There will also be music and games for children to enjoy. Children will also be able to create an MLK-related craft.

Once Upon a Time at Lark Storytime: “I Have A Dream…”
Children and their caregivers are invited to read a story, participate in a song and complete an MLK-related craft while focusing on MLK’s message of friendship

10th annual MLK Day at Cine El Rey
A free community engagement celebration. The event beings at 5PM with doors opening at 4PM.
